Kalaripayattu is known to be practiced for more than 500 years. It has been preserved for many century following the tradition of GURU - SHISHYA parampara. It is a unique combination of defence and healing based on complete science and hence it is regarded as the mother of all martial arts. The word Kalari refers to the place for practice.
